Oakland University Vandenberg Hall
NSC recently completed Oakland University’s 2 phase renovation of the student resident building, Vandenberg Hall. NSC was proudly awarded the general trades package for the overhaul of the two, 7 story towers. Some of our main scope items included; various concrete & masonry work, custom millwork, mirrors, visual displays, wall protection, fire protection specialties, roller window shades, as well as a complete temporary protection system with trash chute. NSC’s efforts aided in bringing this aging hall back to life resulting in modernized dorm rooms featuring custom solid surface vanities, frameless mirrors, wire shelving, and medicine cabinets. The halls, now complete with floor-to-ceiling custom display boards, high-end fire extinguisher cabinets, and stainless steel corner guards giving new energy to the once dated corridors.
